In addition to accepting donations of children’s and young-adult books, the bookmobile will be offering several fun activities for children attending this year’s Bookfest, including:
    • Create Your Own Comic Strip
    • Have Fun with Mad Libs
    • “Once Upon a Time”children take turns adding one sentence to a story. The story will be available to read on the Bookmobile website after Bookfest.
  • There is no admission fee at Bookfest, nor is there any charge for children to participate in any activities.

  • Special Notes for 2024:
    • The 2024 Fair will NOT offer a large order staging area as in past years.
    • Donations are not accepted at the Fair.
    • The 2024 Friends Book Fair will include a silent auction. The auction will be happening in-person during the fair and will feature some of the more valuable materials that were donated this year.

  • POLICIES – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
    • No one will be admitted prior to 10 AM
    • Upon entry, buyers will be asked to accept the Terms and Conditions of the sale, and to agree to adhere to our policies.
    • Book dealers are welcome however, hand held scanners will only be allowed for a limited time on the first day, Wednesday, April 10, from 10 am – noon
    • No hoarding of books, sliding of boxes or bags of books across the floor will be allowed. 
    • Once a buyer accumulates an armload of books, they must be put in our monitored Hold area. 
    • Your name, a hold sign, and a monitor will be responsible for looking over your selections. 
    • Buyers must be respectful of all other buyers at the sale. No attempts to keep other buyers from accessing the shelves will be tolerated.
