  • Music Table: Large selection of sheet music for the classical guitarist and lots of piano tutors
  • Record Table: Very large selection of classical LPs, jazz CDs, 78rpms, and 45rpms records.
  • FOL Gainesville does not allow pre-buying of items. Everything, and everybody waits on that opening morning entry that is traditionally lead by our Scottish Bag Piper!
  • Modifications to normal procedures (including reduced occupancy rate, distancing, and masking) will be made based on COVID infection rates the weeks preceding the sale. On busy days shoppers may have to wait in line until others first leave the building.
  • All profits are used for the Alachua County Library District and community literacy projects.
  • We do not allow electronic devices for scanning purposes.

  • One of the top used book sales in the region! Featuring thousands of books in a broad range of categories.
  • Something for everyone -  readers of all ages.
  • Rare and collectible items including first editions, limited editions, out-of-print editions, signed copies and other treasures 
  • Offering gently used hardbacks, softcovers, trade books, academic books and more
    • All donated and carefully sorted and priced.
  • Most books are priced between $1 and $3, with certain selections priced higher.
    • Cash, checks and credit cards accepted for purchases
  • Opening dayFriday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Numbered tickets will be distributed at the door starting Friday at 8 a.m. A customer will be allowed to enter the community room by numbered ticket order whenever there are less than 25 shoppers inside.
    • Admission $20 for the first 25 shoppers. Admission $5 for all remaining Friday shoppers. 
    • Admission is always free to Friends of the Library
