- Expanded indoor area with a separate entrance for Art/Architecture, Comics/Manga, and Puzzles/Games. Occupancy in these areas and in Collector's Corner will be limited.
- Music Table: Large selection of sheet music for the classical guitarist and lots of piano tutors
- Record Table: Very large selection of classical LPs, jazz CDs, 78rpms, and 45rpms records.
- FOL Gainesville does not allow pre-buying of items. Everything, and everybody waits on that opening morning entry that is traditionally lead by our Scottish Bag Piper!
- We will follow the most current CDC guidelines at the time. We recommend masks and social distancing.. On busy days shoppers may have to wait in line until others first leave the building.
- We encourage shoppers to bring your own bags and boxes for purchases.

- The Adult sale is held in the Hendrickson Room, on the 2nd floor, and the Children’s sale is held in the Cardinal Room on the 1st floor near the Dunton Avenue entrance.
- Adult sale will feature Non-fiction books, sorted by category; fiction, vintage books, books in foreign languages; DVDs, Blu-Rays, video games, music CDs vinyl records, art & posters, and audiobooks.
- Children’s sale features board and picture books, easy readers, novels and non-fiction, toys and games, DVDs and CDs.
- Auction and Buy-It-Now items will be for sale on the 2nd floor. Auction bidding begins Friday at 6 pm and ends Saturday at 2 pm.

Birdie’s Bookmobile helps families build print-rich home environments, improve literacy outcomes, and grow lifelong readers. In addition to accepting donations of children’s and young-adult books, the bookmobile will be offering several fun activities for children attending this year’s Bookfest, including:
- Create Your Own Comic Strip
- Have Fun with Mad Libs
- “Once Upon a Time” — children take turns adding one sentence to a story. The story will be available to read on the Bookmobile website after Bookfest.
- There is no admission fee at Bookfest, nor is there any charge for children to participate in any activities.
