    Among the treasures, in the "Art" category: Andrew Wyeth, an illustrated folio edition with prints photographed directly from the originals, commentary by Richard Meryman, 1968, a must for Wyeth fans and collectors of fine art publications; and The Art of Wyland, beautiful illustrations from American's leading environmental marine life artist,autographed by artist. In the huge "Cooking" section, a special find is Julia Child's illustrated The Way to Cook, 1989.     • Signed and/or limited editions by Robinson Jeffers, J.M. Synge, Robert Frost, Paul Bowles, Theodore Dreiser, John Ruskin, O'Neill, T S Elliot, Robert Graves, Virginia Woolf, D.H. Lawrence, etc.
    • First editions by the above plus Hawthorne, Emerson, Twain, Millay, Whitman, and many others.
    • A masque of poets, complete set of the yellow book, a run of the colophon with the print.
    • Poems by Robinson Jeffers with the signed Ansel Adams portrait.
    • Books on travel baedeckers, Africa, etc.
    • A run of almanacs starting in the 1700s.

  • Frances Yeend and James Benner toured internationally during the 1940's through the 1960's. While residing in Manhattan, they amassed a wonderful collection of of books, many of which are autographed first editions. Frances retired from the stage in 1966 and the couple relocated to Morgantown. She joined the faculty at West Virginia University as a Professor of  Voice/Artist in Residence until her retirement in 1978. Frances and Jim filled their home with more wonderful and noteworthy pieces, and she added to her collection until her death in 2008 at age 95.
