    Westport's First Transformation Sale!

    What's a 'transformation' sale? It’s when the Westport Library begins a major renovation and space is at a premium. And what better way to free up space than to offer more books for sale! That's why this holiday book sale – our 13th annual – will be much bigger (and better), too!

    The sale starts on December 1:

    • Friday, Dec. 1: 9am - 6pm
    • Saturday, Dec. 2: 9am - 5pm
    • Sunday, Dec. 3: 1pm - 5pm

    Gift-worthy books in many categories: current fiction as well as lots of nonfiction – for children, adults, and teens – including cooking, gardening, home & crafts, art, history, biography, religion, sports, poetry, classics, literature, fine bindings, travel, music, coffee-table books.

    Also, lots of DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks in their original factory-sealed packaging.

    Besides gift books, this sale includes art, photography, home & entertainment, cooking, children’s hardcover, New England/New York, as well as signed and other special books....and even more! A sale that will appeal to everyone, from readers and holiday shoppers to collectors and dealers.

    As always, free admission, no sales tax and Visa, MasterCard, and Amex credit cards accepted. All proceeds support the Library’s many programs.

    The book sale is on the main level of the Library and close to the Library’s own gift store, where everything is on sale at 10% off posted prices, and the café.

    Note: Because of construction, entry will be on the main level, where there is plenty of parking.
